General Information

Pichu’s World was officially launched on 28^th October 2003 by a Pokemon fan known online as Pinkie Pichu. Before, it was launched for as a simple hobby, and becuase I wanted to give back something to the Pokemon community.

Now, Pichu’s Wold is a rather small site, with friendly oekakis and forums, centered around graphics, although we do have some infomration about Pokemon games as well.

But why on earth have I choose Pichu as a mascot? Well, the answer is that my very first computer-drawn Pokemon picture that I was actually satisfied with was (yep, you’ve guessed it) a Pichu. So I decided to make a site devoted to this little fella! It’s interesting to know that when the first new generation came out, I was actually against pre-evolutions which never existed before. However, I was attracted by the new, cute look of Pichu, even though it still was a very weak Pokemon in the game, I loved it.

 

 

 

Pichu’s World ‘Revolution’

On the 28th May 2007 we merged with a site named Pikachu’s Hideaway. Cliochu became the co-owner of Pichu’s World alongside Pinkie Pichu. This was a great change, which did cause a bit of mixed views on the decision, but generally had a positive inpact on the site. It enabled Pichu’s World to gain over 60 pages of content.

Hopes for the future

• That this website will continue for years
• To get 1000 unique visitors a day
• To maintain a friendly, co-operative atmosphere on the forums and oekakis
• To continue to grow, expand, and develop into an even better Pokemon website.
